Introduction

Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Trek is the most enchanting trekking in the Khumbu region, the old settlement of Sherpa, we follow Gokyo valley route via high pass of Cho La Pass at 5330 Mt. into the Mount Everest Base Camp, This trail follows through less crowded some interesting yet fascinating villages Namche Bazaar, Phortse Tenga, Machhermo, grazing pastureland of Yak, and of course the Great Turquoise color Gokyo Lake, on arrival we climb to the Gokyo Ri peak which offers the great stunning Panoramic views of Mt Everest 8848 Mt. Cho Oyo (8021m), Makalu, Nuptse, Lhotse, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and other surrounding Himalayas in 360*,  

Arriving at Dzongla we head towards Gorakshep, Everest base camp, next day morning we climb the large boulders to the vantage point of Kala Patthar (5,450Mt), which offers the stunning views of Everest and Khumbu glacier. Later we continue our trail through the classic Everest trekking route to Pheriche, Dingboche, Tengboche and Lukla to catch a flight to Kathmandu.

At the end of this trekking we could visit historic & cultural places as Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Square as well as Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath with sacred monasteries.
