Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, welcome & transferred to your Hotel, afternoon free for personal activities.
The flight into the Himalaya reveals breathtaking views of the great peaks MT Dorje Lakpa, MT Ganesha, MT Purbi chhyachu, MT Langtang, etc., (weather permitting) taking you right into the Himalayan Kingdom's scraping airstrip at Kathmandu. After immigration formality on arrival you will be greeted and welcome by Sampurna Adventure personal & transferred to your Hotel, in the afternoon free for independent activities, overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Full day tour: Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur & Nagarkot:
We will continue to Boudhanath, "UNESCO World Heritage site", its massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical Stupa in the world, where many Tibetan refugees residing since 1960 in its premises have built more than 50 Buddhist monasteries. The Stupa is said to have buried the remains of Kassyapa Buddha. Visit to Pashupatinath, "UNESCO World Heritage site", the sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, which serves as the seat of the national deity, this "extensive Hindu temple ground" offers an "extensive collection of temples, ashrams, sculptures etc. for centuries along the banks of the sacred river Bagamati ", considered Varanasi for Hindus, where you could witness their final rituals of cremation.
Drive to Bhaktapur, UNESCO World Heritage site & the medieval capital city, it lies 14 km east of Kathmandu, we will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square where we will see their exquisite woodworks in the Palace of 55 windows with its golden gate, the beautiful Dattatreya Square, Nyatapola with Bhairab Temple Square and ceramics, The Durbar square is surrounded by spectacular architecture and vividly showcases the skills of the Newari artists and craftsmen over several centuries.
Later we drive to Nagarkot, mountain resort (1 hour / 22 Km), situated at an elevation of 2,195 meters, it is considered one of the most scenic spots to view the majestic Himalayan ranges including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the eastern Himalayan range (if weather permits), check in, in the afternoon walk around the Nagarkot village and view the sunset with glowing Himalaya, (weather permitting), dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: In Kathmandu: Visit Changu Narayan & Patan/Lalitpur:
Early morning wakeup call to view the sunrise over Himalaya, you will have 360* panoramic view of majestic Himalayan ranges, (weather permitting), after hearty breakfast, drive to Changu Narayan or for those active nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, may choose Nagarkot eco panoramic hiking trail of 2 hours (nature walk) to Changu Narayan.
Changu Narayan, an ancient Hindu temple is located on a high hilltop that is also known as Changu. The temple was surrounded by forest with champak tree and a small village, known as Changu Village. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and held in especial reverence by the Hindu people. This temple is considered as the oldest temple in Nepal.
Later we will visit the Patan Durbar Square (World Heritage Site), the city of fine arts & craft in metal, stone, terracotta, officially known as Lalitpur Metropolitan City, it is one of the largest cities of Nepal, It is famous for its rich cultural heritage, where you will see in its ancient palace with golden gate and window, temples of Krishna, Shiva, Golden temple (Hiranya Barna Mahabihar) as well as some monasteries & beautiful courtyard. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Visits in Kathmandu: Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu durbar square, (Optional: Early morning you could take an optional Mount Everest flight tour – The Highest Mountain on Earth).
Today visit to the most important monuments of the Nepalese capital. Visit the Kumari Palace (Living goddess) where the Kumari acknowledges their greetings from her balcony window, Kathmandu Durbar square (The World Heritage site) where you could see the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings, who ruled over the city. This square is surrounded by gigantic figure of Kal Bhairab (the God of Destruction), courtyards and temples. Currently the place is known as Hanuman Dhoka, a name derived from the statue of Monkey god adjoining to the palace entrance. A place with old temples and palaces is the place where Kings of Nepal were crowned and have their coronations solemnized.
We continue to Swoyambhunath Stupa (World Heritage Site), an ancient religious complex located at the top of a hill in the west of Kathmandu Valley. It is also known as "Monkey Temple" as there are many sacred monkeys who live in areas of the northwestern part of the temple. This famous stupa is surrounded by small houses of priest, Chaityas and monastery.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Departure: In the morning free for independent activities, such as shopping, photography or take rest.
Later at the arranged time, transfer to the airport for final departure. End of our service.
